The children at Little Stars had been having lots of fun outside with our footballs and were enjoying passing them and trying to score goals. Ball play is excellent for the children Physical Development not to mention keeping them active and healthy.

To follow on from this we were very lucky to be offered a free session from Pass Football Academy. Trev, one of their coaches, came along last Thursday (8th October) to our session and put the children through their paces. We played games, completed different activities and practised our ball skills. It was lots of fun.

There was lots to think about but we tried very hard. We had to listen carefully to the instructions so that we knew what to do.

Look at out super listening!

We have been working on our colours in our sessions and lots of the activities helped us with this too. We had to put the fish into the correct colour ponds

Well done Evie-Mae and Paige.

We had to put our cars into the correct colour car washes too!

The older children even got to ride their motorbikes around the track leaping over the jumps when Trev shouted.

Then we had to put our engines onto the garages and then put the engines back into the right coloured hoops.

We got to score some goals.

Trev was funny. When we collected the equipment we sometimes made him a necklace or a funny hat!

And at the end we all got stickers and stamps!

It was great fun. The children listened really well and showed lots of skills. Trev said he had enjoyed the session too and thought the children were all really well behaved.

Pass Soccer Academy offer football  coaching sessions for children from the age of 2 years plus in locations around the County and across the North East. My little boy attends once a week and I have seen a massive difference in his skills in a relatively short period. He absolutely loves the sessions so I would highly recommend them.
