Our Team
Kate is our Chief Executive and Manager. She set up Little Stars in 2012. Kate is a qualified teacher and spent her teaching career in Key Stage one and early years. She has 2 children of her own. Kate works in session each week overseeing the nursery. She is also responsible for the day to day running of the charity. Kate is SENCO and Safeguarding lead
Penny is our Deputy Manager. She is NVQ Level 3 qualified and has several years experience working with this age range of children in other nurseries. She oversees our planning for the setting. She also has her own key worker group which she plans for and delivers activities. She is in charge when the Manager is not in the building and oversees the day to day running of all of the sessions, planning and assessment. She is our Deputy Safeguarding Lead.
Tracey is a Childcare practitioner and is a qualified Level 3 practitioner. She has her own key worker children for whom she plans and delivers activities. She has worked as a nanny over seas and as a teaching assistant in primary school before moving into nursery provision.
Helen is a Childcare Practitioner and is qualified to Level 5 and has experience working on nurseries and as a nanny. She has her own key worker children for whom she plans and delivers activities.
Ashley is a Childcare Practitioner and qualified at Level 3 in childcare. She has worked in several day care providers.
